IRAP McGill - International Refugee Assistance Project
Club icon

McGill's chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) affords students the opportunity to acquire first-hand experience providing legal advice and representation to refugees seeking resettlement, including through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Student Advocates work in teams, under the supervision of practicing lawyers, to assist refugees in navigating the rules and processes of international resettlement.

The Policy Team is committed to raising awareness of refugee issues around McGill and Montreal, as well as to advocate for policy changes that will benefit the refugee community at large. Nous avons par exemple organisé des conférences, des projections de documentaires, et des campagnes de rédaction de lettres aux député(e)s canadien(ne)s.
