The McGill Business Law Association (MBLA) is committed to increasing students’ exposure to business-related legal issues, networking events and professional opportunities.

Au cours de l’année scolaire, l’association organise des conférences, des tables rondes, des lunchs et des cocktails en partenariat avec des cabinets d’avocats de Montréal, de Toronto et de New York. Ces évènements permettent aux jeunes juristes de s’initier au droit des affaires ou de développer leurs connaissances dans le domaine, tout en fournissant des opportunités hors pair d'interagir avec des avocats du domaine pour élargir leur réseau professionnel.

The MBLA also organizes workshops that help position our members for success in the law firm recruiting process. Our pre-recruiting workshop focuses on networking tips, interviewing skills and Course aux stages best practices. Another session led by young graduates will give students a better understanding of day-to-day life as a business lawyer. These workshops are intended to provide fresh, practical insight that helps bridge the gap between theory and practice.
